I was approached by the organisers from Breast Cancer Care Scotland to photograph the 2014 Pink Ribbonwalk at Scone Palace, near Perth.
The Pink Ribbonwalk is a charity walk in aid of Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide support charity helping the thousands of women waking up to the harsh reality of breast cancer every day. Their specialist nurses, local services and emotional support network mean there's always someone to turn to for information and support. These events also help to promote general awareness.

There were many people doing the walk around the Palace grounds. At this yearly event, you can choose to do either a 10 mile or 20 mile walk. The 20 mile walk starts earlier in the morning and the 10 mile walk a couple of hours later.

Many walkers had turned up for the day, not just women, but also dogs and men!
There was a large team of walkers from Curves Gym in Perth.

Scone Palace (pronounced Skoon!) is an amazing Scottish location. It is a gothic palace, with extensive grounds and a rich history dating back 2000 years. It would make a very special wedding venue. It's grounds are full of peacocks, there is a donkey, highland cows, Shetland ponies. It has Perthshire's only maze, the Murray Star Maze, which is made of beech hedges in the shape of a star. It looks quite small, but don't be fooled, you could get lost in there!

It was mixed weather, hot and sunny early on, but some showers later on, as to be expected in Scotland!

I have captured many photographs of the day. In fact, never before have I taken so many pink photographs with my cameras!
