I have cycled many times to South Queensferry. There is a really nice cycling path from Edinburgh. At some point you can  almost ride along the sea side, well through the woods but still it is a really pleasant ride. The town itself is know or famous for the bridges. The Forth Rail Bridge that was opened on the 4th of March 1890 and the other Forth Road Bridge. The rail one is red and the road one is blue. The bridges have been photographed lots of times by many, I mean many. It seems to me that Orocco Pier is also one of the famous restaurants there. Well, not only you can have beer there and be looking at the sea and both bridges, you can hire the venue for a wedding. I have been there few times recently. The venue is a cosy place with different levels, separated from the restaurant crowd. It is nicely located, with strong beach and water theme I would say for any event.  Photographing wedding ceremony there is a pleasant experience and if no rain, there are some lovely spots around to take the bride and groom for the portraits. Not always you can get to the beach that's right off the back of the building, all depends of the water level.
Family and friends gathered for this lovely couple's ceremony there. We had a dry but windy day, a dry day is always good in Scotland. We found the places where we managed to shelter from the wind that usually blows bride's hair away.  Lovely memories the photos will bring to the couple from this joyous day. All the smiles and winks, happy faces will be so precious years after that day. I as a wedding photojournalist concentrate on capturing all these little moments that carry so much emotions.
