The Botanic Gardens was an idyllic setting that day for the wedding. It is a gloriously romantic setting, full of greenery, enchanted lakes, and scottish squirrels. The couple that was getting married that day had a wonderful time, as you can see in the photographs. Here they are in the Oriental Garden, known as the Chinese Hillside. It is so wonderful how Chinese plants can actually grow in Scotland, can you believe it? The Chinese Hillside has windy pathways, leading to a waterfall which pours into a pond down below, full of goldfish. If you enjoy flora and fauna (squirrels) you will love the Botanic Gardens here in Edinburgh. The Botanic Gardens seem like a very romantic wedding venue.
