Calton Hill is the well known hill of Edinburgh. It is located in the city centre and once you get to the top, there are fantastic views at the whole city of Edinburgh and beyond. This hill also attracts many local photographers for cityscape shots and is also very tempting to the brides and grooms who do not mind the climbing at all and happily follow the path to the top of Calton Hill.

This hill offers a variety of views and seems to impress me every time I go there. None two visits are the same! Depending on the season and the weatehr conditions the photographs are always great.

My latest trip there was not so long ago. This lovely couple chose the spot for their wedding photos. Light that day was amazing, nice, soft with slight fog.
