Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh Wedding with Arthur’s Seat Portraits

As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful summer wedding at the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel, also known as the Caledonian, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Although it didn’t feel like summer—thanks to the grey skies and light rain—the love and energy of the day more than made up for the weather.

Thankfully, the rain stopped just in time for us to take a walk to Arthur’s Seat for some truly atmospheric bride and groom portraits. The misty hills created a soft, cinematic backdrop, adding a touch of mystery and romance to their wedding story.

The day was a joyful celebration—a heartfelt gathering of two families coming together. Through my documentary-style wedding photography, I captured everything from quiet glances to big laughter, telling the full story of their day as it naturally unfolded.
