It was the first time ever I made it to the Corstorphine Hill, despite living in Edinburgh for quite a while. I can actually see the hill from my kitchen's window as a far away subject. I did try to cycle up Kaimes Road, but I had to push my bike for the most of that street. It is not an easy hill :-)
At the top there is a board that welcomes you to the park. It was a really nice to spend time there with this cute couple. I really liked the feel of the woods there and all the nature. You will for sure bump into lots of dogs running there. It is a very spacious area and great for running, not only for dogs but joggers too. The trees will shade you away from the sun. But as we all know, we do not suffer from heat waves here in Edinburgh!
Photographing at Corstorphine Hill was a pleasure, since I really love shooting outdoors, using all the natural shapes of trees and plants, all the given colours that can be used, if there is no sunlight. Photo sessions on locations are always fun and let me explore the places of the city that I have not visited before. I really enjoy doing the pre-wedding photo shoots. It allows me to spend some time with the couple and get to know them a little bit. This cute couple was a pleasure to photograph despite the fact that we couldn't find each other, since there are few clearings at that hill :-)
