Traquair House is one of the wedding venues located in the Scottish Borders. What I really love about that venue is its amazing outdoors. That includes the walled garden, acutally few of the spacious gardens for the outdoor wedding ceremonies, the nearby pond and old woods. At any time of the year that venue looks great. Even on a foggy Spring day. According to the Wikipedia Traquair House is the oldest continually inhabited house in Scotland and it is built in the style of a fortified mansion. I have photographed few weddings here. It is one of my favourite venues! Location is simply fantastic. Any outdoor lovers would appreciate the variety of the nature here for their wedding photography. And of course the historic feel of the house and its interiors. In my opinion that's quite an interesting combination for a wedding celebration!
